This Privacy Policy applies to Living Temple, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, and to Julie Anne Combest, its practitioner (together, "Living Temple," "we," "us," "I," or "me"). It covers: - The website at iamlivingtemple.com - Bodywork and myofascial release clients - Embodied Liberation coaching clients - Class, workshop, retreat, and intensive participants - Email list subscribers and anyone who contacts me

**Contact:** iamlivingtemple@gmail.com | (720) 325-0241 | 3285 Krameria Street, Denver, CO 80207

2. INFORMATION I COLLECT

2.1 Information You Give Me Directly

**Identity and contact information** — name, pronouns, email address, phone number, mailing address, emergency contact. **Health and body information** — the health history, medical conditions, medications, injuries, surgeries, pregnancy status, pain patterns, and physical history you provide on intake forms or tell me in session. This is necessary for me to work safely with your body. **Session information** — my treatment notes, coaching notes, what areas we worked, what surfaced, what we planned. **Personal and spiritual context** — what you share about your history, relationships, spiritual life, trauma history, goals, and inner work, whether in session, on a form, or by message. **Payment information** — I do not store your full card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, which processes and stores that data under its own privacy policy. I retain records of transactions: amount, date, service, and last four digits. **Program and event information** — dietary needs, accessibility needs, room preferences, travel details, and health disclosures for retreats and intensives. **Communications** — emails, texts, voice notes, form submissions, and messages between us. **Voluntary submissions** — testimonials, survey responses, and anything you send me.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, standard technical information may be collected: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent, and referring site. This comes through my website platform and any analytics tools in use. [Wix Analytics, and Google Analytics.] The website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality and, where applicable, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the site work.

2.3 Information From Others If someone refers you and shares your contact information, or if you connect through a booking or social platform, I may receive information from them. I only ever act on it with your consent.

3. SENSITIVE INFORMATION AND A NOTE ABOUT HIPAA

Health information, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious and spiritual beliefs, and trauma history are sensitive categories, and I treat everything in Section 2.1 as sensitive by default.

**On HIPAA:** Living Temple is [a cash-based practice that does not bill insurance electronically and is therefore not a HIPAA "covered entity" / a HIPAA covered entity]. Regardless of that technical status, I am bound by Colorado law and by the professional and ethical obligations of my massage therapy license to keep your records confidential, and I apply HIPAA-level standards to how I store and handle your information as a matter of practice.

Coaching records are not medical records and are not protected by therapist-client privilege. Coaching is not licensed psychotherapy, so the legal privilege that attaches to communications with a licensed therapist does not attach here. I hold your coaching information in confidence as a matter of ethics and practice; I want you to know the legal distinction.

4. HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION I use what I collect to: - Provide bodywork, coaching, classes, intensives, and retreats safely and well - Determine whether a service is appropriate for you and identify contraindications - Schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments - Process payments and maintain business and tax records - Maintain the clinical and session records my license and good practice require - Communicate with you about your care, your program, and logistics - Send newsletters, offerings, and community announcements — only if you have opted in - Improve the website and understand which offerings serve people - Meet legal, licensing, tax, and insurance obligations

**I do not use your health information, session content, or personal story for marketing.** Nothing you tell me becomes content without your separate written permission.

5. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS SHARED

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY This website and my email list are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them online. If you believe a child's information has been collected through the website, write to me and I will delete it.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS The website and my emails may link to other sites — collaborators, resources, booking platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, and I encourage you to read their policies.

11. CLIENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES Living Temple operates in the United States, and your information is stored and processed here. Privacy law in the U.S. may differ from the law where you live. If you engage services from outside the U.S., you consent to that transfer and processing. If you are in the UK or EU, write to me about your rights under GDPR and I will honor them.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY I may update this policy. The current version, with its effective date, is always at iamlivingtemple.com/privacy-policy. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, I will notify active clients and email subscribers directly.
